LEXINGTON, Ky. – Undeterred by Saturday’s loss to the Hoosiers which relegated the Wildcats into the loser’s bracket, Kentucky responded on Sunday in impressive fashion. The Cats dominated West Virginia and Indiana from start to finish, beating them by a combined score of 26-6 to set up a winner-take-all game seven with the Hoosiers at 6:00 pm on Monday.
Shortly after Saturday’s loss to Indiana on which sent Kentucky into the loser’s bracket, head coach Nick Mingione reminded his club (and the media in the press conference) that they’ve been in this situation before.
