On Monday, Dodgers starting shortstop Gavin Lux was carted off the field with an apparent right leg injury. Lux was trying to avoid a throw running to third base, and seemed to stumble and hurt his right leg. He wasn’t able to put any weight on it, and was carted off the field.

This is obviously the last thing anyone wanted to see. Lux was primed for a huge season as the team’s starting shortstop, and was a big piece of the team’s plans this season.
We don’t want to speculate on the injury, and will continue to update you when we know more.
But for now, we can say it didn’t look very good, as Lux was unable to put any weight on his leg and was carted to the clubhouse.
