Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts is holding a charity bowling tournament on February 8 at Lucky Strike in downtown Los Angeles. Tickets to the event start at $500, but Mookie recently announced on his Instagram a chance to win tickets for much less.

It’s easy to enter to be one of the 50 winners of Mookie’s giveaway.

Were giving away 50 tickets to my first annual bowling tournament! Follow these steps for a chance to join me and friends @luckystrikeent on February 8th.

STEPS:

  1. Donate $50 dollars to The 5050 foundation through the website www.the5050foundation.org
  2. Follow @the5050foundation on Instagram
  3. Tag one friend you’d want to accompany you to the bowling tournament

All proceeds from the event go to benefit the 5050 Foundation. The foundation’s website describes its mission:

The 5050 Foundation believes in every kid’s incredible potential. We’re committed to breaking the barriers that hold them back, especially when it comes to their medical and financial needs. The 5050 Foundation empowers the next generation to make the most of their lives – and make a bigger difference in our world.

While it rankles some non-athletes that Betts has interests besides baseball, Mookie has always been an avid bowler, including when he won the 2018 American League MVP Award with the Red Sox. When Betts occasionally struggles, it’s an easy crutch for simple minds to blame the bowling, but those criticisms don’t stand up to even the simplest scrutiny.

So if you want to support a great cause and have some fun bowling with Mookie Betts, get your entry in soon!
