Perhaps no baseball program in the nation reveres its walk-on players more than the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles.
Two former Eagles walk-ons are in the major leagues – pitchers Richard Bleier and Jacob Barnes. A third ex-Eagles walk-on pitcher, Josh Dye, was in Triple-A with the Kansas City Royals last season.
