Game two of this weekend series will be a match up of left-handed starters. The Cincinnati Reds will look to even the series up behind Nick Lodolo. The Brewers will look to guarantee themselves a series victory with Aaron Ashby on the mound. First pitch tonight is set for 7:10pm and the television broadcast is on FOX.
Starting Lineups
Here are the lineups for tonight’s contest:
Starting Pitchers
Nick Lodolo
Left-handed hitters haven’t stepped into the box much this season against Lodolo this season. And when they have they haven’t done much hitting. Right-handed hitters have found a lot of success, though. They have hit .299 and they’ve gotten on base at a high clip, too.

Aaron Ashby
Lefties haven’t been given many opportunities to face off against Ashby, but the ones that have been given a shot have been more successful than righties have this season. They are walking more, hitting for a higher average, and hitting for the same amount of power as righties are.
Not shown are his home and road splits. He’s pitched more than twice as many innings on the road as he has at home, but when he’s been in Milwaukee he’s pitched much better. At home he has a 2.84 ERA this season with a 0.99 WHIP (4.72 ERA on the road, 1.66 WHIP). He’s held hitters to a .194/.255/.387 line in Milwaukee this season.
