The Dodgers and Rockies put on a show last night in Colorado. Well…Los Angeles’ offense put on a show. The Rockies seemed to take the night off as a whole on Thursday, losing 13-0 and failing to put up any fight at all.
Tonight’s game will put Julio Urias up against Chad Kuhl, who spun a 3-hit shutout against the Dodgers his last time out. Julio pitched 6 shutout innings against the Giants in his last start, but has not pitched well in Colorado at all this year.
For the year, Urias has compiled a 2.72 ERA and 9 wins despite having little run support for most of the season. He has to be hoping that the bats show up again tonight in the high altitude.
