Despite a rough patch against the Nationals this week, the Dodgers have been rolling through most of the regular season. They come into Friday night’s game against the Rockies with a 66-32 record, 12 games ahead of the Padres in the National League West.
And they’re not even healthy yet. The Dodgers still have a long list of guys on the injured list working their way back. But despite the lingering issue of roster health for most of the season, they continue to win (many) ballgames.
That’s probably why Fangraphs now has the Dodgers with a 100 percent chance to make the postseason in 2022. No other team in the National League carries a 100 percent chance to make it to the playoffs, though the Mets are incredibly close.
Their World Series odds are also now up to 16.7 percent, the best in all of baseball by a decent margin. Even the Yankees only carry an 11.9 percent chance of hoisting the Commissioner’s Trophy at the end of the season, according to Fangraphs.

The Dodgers are closing in on getting Edwin Rios back. After suffering a hamstring strain, Rios was eventually placed on the 60-day injured list. But he started his rehab assignment in Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday night, meaning he could very well be returning to the big league squad soon.
